Triangle Community Ministry is an  ecumenical ministry working together with the residents of the Triangle neighborhood located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin.
Home to approximately 335 people, the Triangle is the second largest subsidized housing complex in Wisconsin.

Our Mission:
TCM is an ecumenical ministry of presence in solidarity with the residents of the Triangle Community. The ministry seeks to make visible the Word by assisting and supporting residents in their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

The Pastor/Chaplain is responsible for actualizing the mission of the TCM by being present to and ministering to the spiritual needs of the residents living in the Triangle neighborhood of public housing in Madison WI. Their compassionate presence will foster spiritual healing, hope and joy in Triangle residents, many of whom live with the daily challenges of chronic physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health problems. Leaf CastingLeaf Casting: A Fund Raiser for the Triangle Community Ministry

Linda, Bob and friends will lead participants through the construction of leaf castings which can be used in a number of ways as yard art. From bird baths to stepping stones, these one of a kind, unique cement castings, using leaves, will enhance any garden. It will take 2 - 3 hours to construct the leaf castings. Participants will be able to construct two pieces. Linda will then see that the cement is cured and put the first coat of flat black primer on them. Participants will return for an approximate 1 hour time span to paint their art project on June 13th between 1- 6 pm. All materials supplied.

A suggested tax deductible donation of $50.00 will be used to benefit the Ministry at the Triangle which supports a Community Parish Nurse, Chaplain, and Outreach Manager, to be present to tenants living in the community. 40th Anniversary Celebration
June 30, 2018
Triangle Community Ministry celebrated its 40th Anniversary at the annual Swing Into Summer BBQ for Triangle residents and friends/supporters of the ministry. Braving 100+ degree heat, more than 150 people enjoyed brats, burgers, picnic food, the music of the New Horizons Swing Band, and a program celebrating TCM's good work. Thanks to all who helped: board members, resident volunteers, community volunteers, sponsors Oak Bank, Harms Insurance, Wegner CPA and Thrivent Financial, and other donors including Bob's Copy Shop, Park St. Pick N Save, Park Street BP and Clasen's Bakery.

Triangle Ministry Monday Meals
Triangle Ministry’s Weekly Monday Meals are served in Brittingham Apartments, 755 Braxton Place, in the community dining room on the first three Mondays of every month from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Kiwanis Serving Monday MealThe Downtown Kiwanis Club served one of Triangle Ministry's Monday Meals on May 14. TCM is celebrating its 40th anniversary by serving 40 Monday Meals in 2018. TCM ChoirSinging a new song
Under the direction of Bea Christensen the newly formed TCM Choir rehearses every Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Brittingham Community Room. The choir will perform at special events and memorial services. The choir is open to all residents. Volunteers may also attend.

Infant KitsInfant Kits
Assembling Infant Kits and Hospice Kits
Members of Luther Memorial Church in downtown Madison and residents of the Triangle teamed up to assemble Infant Kits and Hospice Kits this spring. Luther Memorial members donated items for the kits during Lent. After Easter the kit items were brought to the Triangle where residents helped put the kits together. The kits will be taken to and distributed around the world by Lutheran World Relief.
