Triangle Community Ministry is an ecumenical
ministry working together with the residents of the Triangle neighborhood
located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin.
Home to approximately 335 people,
the Triangle is the second largest subsidized housing complex in Wisconsin.
TCM is an ecumenical ministry of
presence in solidarity with the residents of the Triangle Community. The
ministry seeks to make visible the Word by assisting and supporting
residents in their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

WILL Make a Difference!
September 24; 3:00 to 7:00 pm
Madison Christian Community
Enjoy an afternoon of music outdoors at Music in
the Prairie, Triangle Community Ministry’s celebration/fundraising
event, on Saturday, September 24, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Madison Christian
Community (Advent Lutheran & Community of Hope UCC), 7118 Old Sauk Road.
New Horizons Swing Band
begins at 3 p.m. with music by Madison’s
New Horizons Swing Band. At 4:30 p.m. Chris Anderson and Jim O’Connor of
take the stage.
Chance Allies with jazz vocalist Tisha Brown and accompanist David Allen
finish the evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with the music of Gershwin, Ellington
and Armstrong. Guided tours of the prairie will be available and a Silent

Back2Back Acoustic Duo
Bring a lawn chair and snacks, or purchase food on site. The event is free
and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to support the
mission and ministry of Triangle Community Ministry (TCM), a non-profit
organization serving the underserved population of the Triangle in downtown
Madison for 38 years. In the event of rain, all activities will be moved
inside. Parking is available in the church lot. For more information, to

Under the direction of Bea Christensen the newly formed TCM Choir rehearses
every Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Brittingham Community Room. The
choir will perform at special events and memorial services. The choir is
open to all residents. Volunteers may also attend.

Parkside Patio Party
United Way Day of Caring
A group of 8 CUNA employees cleaned and reorganized kitchen, supply closet
and book shelves at Parkside Community Room during United Ways Days of
Caring in August. Thanks to United Way for organizing this great community
activity and to CUNA for responding. Two Turville Bay employees also helped
by reorganizing the Art Room supply closet at Karabis.
Parkside Patio Party
Dixie Horizons Band played at Parkside Patio Party on September 4. TCM
invited the group which performed for residents inside. Chaplain Judy
started things off outdoors with a blessing. CDA served BBQ chicken and
brats as well as salads to celebrate the new patio.
